Purposes

We do not collect or use information for purposes other than those described in this privacy policy, unless we have obtained your prior explicit consent.

We use personal data:

When we have received consent;

In the context of preparing or performing our contract;

To comply with legal or regulatory provisions to which we are subject; and

When Déva has a legitimate interest, such as, depending on the case, conducting direct marketing, preventing fraud, managing internal administration, or ensuring appropriate network and information security. In such cases, we always seek to strike a balance between that interest and respecting the privacy of the data subject.

Subject to consent, where required, Dévacollects personal data for the following specific purposes:

To process requests for products or services

If you visit our website to gather and/or request information about our products and services, or if you sign up for the newsletter, for example, Déva will in any case need your email address. All information that Déva receives from you during this pre-contractual phase is used only to provide you with the requested information, in the manner you prefer.

To provide the best service

Déva uses personal data for setting up, maintaining, and supporting products and services, as well as for administrative purposes.

To comply with legal obligations

In many cases, Déva is legally required to retain and/or disclose certain personal data to government authorities, for example in the context of general tax and accounting obligations.

Third parties

All information and personal data are not shared with third parties. In some cases, the information and your personal data may be shared internally within our organization. Our employees are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data, your personal data, and your privacy.

Personal data choices

Accessing, modifying, or deleting

We offer you the possibility to access, modify, or delete all of your personal data stored by us at the time of your request. This can easily be done by email to info@devaprojects.be, with the mention “Personal data”.

You also have the right to obtain the deletion of your personal data without undue delay if and insofar as:

the personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes;

there is no longer a legal basis;

you object to the processing and there are no overriding compelling legitimate grounds for the processing by Déva;

the personal data has been unlawfully processed; or

the personal data must be deleted in order to comply with a legal obligation to which Déva is subject.

Déva will send you a confirmation message after carrying out a deletion request. In the event of partial deletion, Déva will also explain why the request could not be fully complied with.

Objecting

You have the right at any time, on grounds relating to your specific situation, to object to the processing of your personal data that is based on the legitimate interest of Déva. If you object, Déva will stop processing that personal data unless Déva demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or grounds relating to the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

Data portability

For personal data processed in the context of the performance of the agreement, provided by you and processed by automated means, you as the data subject have the right to obtain this data from Dévain a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, as well as to request Déva to transfer that data directly to another party, where technically feasible, if you wish to switch to another provider.

Unsubscribing from the newsletter

At the bottom of every newsletter you receive from us, you will find the option to unsubscribe and no longer receive newsletters from Déva. All your personal data stored by us for the purpose of receiving our newsletter will be automatically deleted when you unsubscribe.

We have implemented the necessary security measures to prevent the loss, unlawful use, or alteration of information we receive on our site. When we receive or transfer certain critical information, such as financial information, we use a secure server.
